I could not have been more fortunate in my connections with Patsy, N.D.Y. (her girlfriend), and the Scooter Collective. I'm hanging out with the most empowered women in Sydney who are all artists, organizers, activists, and definitely Queer-friendly!! The show last night was packed with talented women and everyone was so accessible and open. I'm so thrilled to be here and meeting such kind people. I even got invited to do spokenword at an internationally-traveling, all-women strip-tease event next weekend. Will my words be able to undress their minds? You be the judge...

If this is the case, then I am writing to all of you. May these words lift up off the page and into your heart. May these heartfelt intentions swimming inside me put you at ease. This is my bridge to you. May these emotions anchor us in our connection. I'll be home soon enough, with stories and photos and memories to share with you.

With my one virtual foot pratically out the door for koala-ville, I wait with baited anticipication. I can hardly believe it! I can hardly believe that without a tour manager (and the Internet-Goddess as my only guide), I single-handedly booked this tour. My thank you list is long, but here goes: Patsy (Sydney), Flea & Karla (Melbourne), Fanny (Adelaide), Philippa (Auckland, NZ), and Lisa (Wellington, NZ), & all organizers for all festivals and conferences; Adrienne (worldwide best friend) for holding down the fort; all my peops for keeping me grounded and sane through it all; mom and pop, and my big sis, of course!; my East Bay family for their constant love, support and how about that j-o-b!
