BRISBANE:
I'm in Brisbane now... with only a few internet access minutes, so I must be brief. Brisbane is spectacular. My new friends, Danni & Mike, are heroic. Everyone has been so kind and so open. I'm a complete stranger here, and I have been spoiled with generosity a thousandfold. I am so grateful for all of their incredibly positive energy. Had a fabulous time at the community radio show (KZZZ) with Danni, then we ate the best vegan dinner at The Forest (which used to be a butcher!), then I got to be a part of their film documentary on open relationships. Today, Mike & I went to the Man Ray film & photo exhibit at the Brisbane Art Gallery and had a picnic in South End (a very bizarre, artificial, amusement park-like setting), and tonight is my workshop at Visible Ink. I'm psyched. Ready to stir some hearts and waken some radical love in this town.
But I also have other news... really luscious, heartwarming news to share. I made another life-affirming connection just before I left Sydney. Our time was very short but no less sacred and awe-inspiring. We definitely are in the midst of a mutually loving, mutually expansive exchange. So who knows what the future brings. I'm thankful that love keeps finding me, challenging me, poking and prodding me along in her bossy, sassy, pushy sort of way. Love simply insists on tackling me, my only wish is that it wasn't so damn far away. What is that all about? I have to wonder...
There is a stockpile of unanswered emails in my box. Forgive me, I cannot write you all, but I committed to writing when I return. Please know that this very private journal entry is a testament to the love that swells in my heart for each of you.
Stuck in the revolving door of love again,
