A Fairytale

Once upon a time, society finally came to its senses and shook off traditional patriarchic meanings of a relationship based upon ownership, dominance, control, and possessiveness of women. And in a massive rebirth in the spirit of global community, people gathered together and formed allies. Intentional communities sprung up like wildflowers dedicated to protecting the land base and all human and non-humans on it. They prayed to mother earth day and night in reverence and for guidance. Fueled by the belief that the sacred resides in everything, humans had commitment ceremonies with the river, stone, moon, and tree, with the frog, fish, turtle, and dove, with the elk, bear, coyote, and gorilla, with the grasshopper, gnat, dung beetle, and firefly. And Gaia was very, very pleased....

The end...
